Modern Dental is owned by W. Bruce Houghton, DMD., FAGD. Dr. Houghton is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. This fellowship is equivalent to an advanced dental degree, and is an honor achieved by less than 3% of practicing dentists nationwide.

Dr. Houghton graduated from:

• Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, Advanced Programs in 1997 and 1998
• Tufts New England School of Dental Medicine residency program in TMJ Dysfunction in 1986
• Tufts New England School of Dental Medicine with a DMD degree in 1983
• Brigham Young University, majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Chemistry in 1979

Dr. Houghton also holds certificates from the following professional seminars:

Dr. Houghton maintains approximately 200+ hours of continuing education per year (the State of New Hampshire requires 40 hours bi-annually). Dr. Houghton attends these courses on an ongoing basis to keep abreast of new technological advances in dentistry, incorporating them into Modern Dental for the benefit of all our patients.
